Our Approach

Innovative Care Programs

We are dementia and fall prevention care experts.

Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia (ADRD) is the fifth leading cause of death among adults 65 years and older. It is estimated that 5 million seniors in the United States were diagnosed with ADRD in 2014, and 13.9 million seniors will be diagnosed with ADRD by 2060.1 ADRD affects every aspect of a person's life. It can diminish someone’s ability to communicate and understand, alter their behavior, and affect their physical health.

Whether your family member has Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, or another type, our specially trained caregivers can help your family member live their best life, for as long as possible. Our proprietary ADRD specialty program, Calm Insight™, uses a person-centered approach with evidence-based behavioral interventions. Our caregivers will deliver customized daily care, carry out our best practices for ADRD, follow strategies to decrease challenging behavior, and engage in meaningful activities with your loved one.

Our research-backed fall prevention program and strategies, Prostaf™, helps reduce falls and improve health outcomes. One of our highest priorities is safety. We offer general supervision and aid that brings awareness to trip hazards and secures your loved one.

We begin by conducting a home safety inspection and a fall risk assessment for your family member. After discussing home safety improvements, a trusted, qualified caregiver is selected. If transitioning back home from the hospital, the caregiver receives special training. A registered nurse then conducts a needs-based assessment to create a client-centered care plan. Last, we do ongoing quality assurance to ensure continuity of care.

Experienced Management

We pride ourselves in being led by nurses. Our expertise in health care is central to our identity as a world-class home care agency. All of our registered nurses have at least a decade of management experience. They also serve as excellent resources, as they can help answer questions about medical conditions and care, recognize medication side effects, and help coordinate medical services.

Every caregiver receives hands-on training from a registered nurse to reinforce what they learn in the classroom. The nurses will mentor and monitor the caregiver to help in their growth and development. Our caregivers learn from the best, which gives them the confidence and tools needed to empower and protect your loved one.

Freedom of Choice

We partner with you and your family to create a high-quality, client-centered home care plan with their needs and values in mind. Our robust caregiver matching process partners your loved one with one of our trusted caregivers based on their background and personality. We teach all of our caregivers how to build an empowering relationship that helps your family member do more of what they want.

If you or your loved one are not happy with a match after a set period of time, or if you are unsatisfied with the services you were offered, we will make proper accommodations to make it right. Freedom of choice means your opinions and preferences matter.

Technology Transparency

Our state-of-the-art home care software enables you and your family to view all aspects of their schedule and care plan. We emphasize transparency to remove any guesswork involved and leave you stress free.
